ObjectTech Signs agreement with Dubai Department of Economic Development

ObjectTech Group Ltd. has today signed an agreement with Dubai’s Department of Economic Development at the DFA offices, agreeing a mutual plan to work together on the Empay payment system.

ObjectTech CEO Paul Ferris co-signed the agreement along with DED Deputy Director Ali Ibrahim, with Khalfan Belhoul from the Dubai Future Accelerators in attendance.

ObjectTech will bring our expertise in distributed systems, blockchain and identity.

We are hugely excited about the challenge and opportunity to bring together banks, government and technologies in a way that will benefit all and bring down costs for Dubai consumers.

This compliments our previous agreements signed with the GDRFA to build digital passports and enable seamless entry to Dubai using ObjectTech’s identity system. We look forward to working closely with the DED to make Dubai the most business & consumer-friendly cities on the planet - and the most connected.
